Beverly Bird
From early childhood, art has been my passion. And, as a transplant from Southern California, Sonoma County seems like heaven. Its breathtaking beauty and diversity from vineyards to redwoods to seascapes inspire much of my work. In my landscapes, I try to imbue a quality of light that captures the mood, hour of the day and a sense of season. My body of work also includes scenes from my travels, as well as portraits, figures and still lifes. I earned my degree in Fine Art from CSU Long Beach and continue my studies through master artist workshops.
